    Taylor Swift Buys Back Her Masters: ‘No Strings Attached’

    Since 2019, Taylor Swift has been re-recording her albums in an effort to personal her life’s work. And for months, Swifties have been not-so-patiently ready for an announcement about when she would launch the “Taylor’s Model” of her 2017 hit album, “Repute.”

    In typical Swift trend, there was an enormous announcement this week — however not what everybody was considering.

    On Friday, Swift announced on her website that she bought her whole catalog, together with music movies, live performance movies, album artwork and images, unreleased songs, and the “reminiscences, insanity, and magic” of her “whole life’s work.”

    “All the music I’ve ever made now belongs to me,” Swift advised followers in a letter.

    Swift made the cope with Shamrock Capital, which reportedly bought her masters in 2020 for “greater than $300 million.” The New York Times notes Shamrock Capital is an L.A.-based funding agency based by Roy E. Disney, a nephew of Walt Disney.

    It may also encourage some new fan artwork.

    “My first tattoo is likely to be an enormous shamrock in the course of my brow,” Swift wrote within the announcement, including that the transaction was “sincere, honest, and respectful.”

    The value tag of the deal was not disclosed. In October 2023, Bloomberg named Swift to its billionaires list for the primary time.

    As for “Repute (Taylor’s Model),” Swift says “Rep TV” it is not even a “quarter” re-recorded, although now, with the brand new deal, followers can take heed to the unique with out feeling responsible.
